Raito Kitakata – SR: “The King within the Walls”
I Want to Meet You
Part 1

Raito, Kinari, and Kuguri’s Room

Raito: Whew, have all three of us finished our unpacking?
Kinari: Completion of order confirmed.
Raito: You really didn’t have a lot of stuff, Kinari.
Kinari: It is inevitable as I don’t have a need for many items.
Raito: Isn’t it good to have some things that aren’t because you need them, but because you want them? I hope that someday this room will have more of Kinari’s personal items too.
Kinari: To have something because you want it…
Kinari: I understand that this bowl is one of Raito’s personal belongings. Is this an item you wanted to have here?
Raito: What a great eye to have noticed that! That’s right. I love ramen, right? That’s “My Bowl”.
Kinari: To summarize, you take this bowl to the ramen shop and they use it?
Raito: Ah no, I don’t bring it. This is for when I want to savor that feeling of being at a ramen shop, but at home.
Kinari: To savor the feeling of a ramen shop at home… I understand. Is that why there’s a refrigerator in our room too?
Raito. Yes. I can’t help but get absorbed and end up spending my days off making soup.
Kinari: I see… I have reference information that ramen is profound and has the power to draw in many people. Do you intend to run a ramen shop in the future?
Raito: Ahaha, that’s a good point. Maybe it would be a good idea to open a ramen shop someday.
Raito: However, making HAMA lively again comes first.
Kinari: Agreed.
Kinari: May I ask one more question?
Raito: Sure, ask away.
Kinari: What is this… display that looks like an altar?
Raito: Ah, this… truthfully it’s…
Part 2

Kinari: …?
Kuguri: ….
Raito: I’m into the occult, you see, and I learned from a famous streamer that the chance of an alien encounter can be increased with this type of altar.
Kuguri: (When I was wondering what they might be talking about, it’s this topic again? What an idiot.)
Kinari: Have you met an alien since putting the altar together?
Raito: Not yet. But when the time is right, I’m sure he’ll show up.
Raito: Or at least that’s what I believe.
Kinari: Searching database.
Kinari: Although it is unclear whether this will affect the chances of an encounter with alien life, I have found data from a search result for [If You Do These Things, Your Wishes Are More Likely to Come True].
Raito: Is there such a thing? Please tell me. What exactly should I do?
Kinari: [First, regulate your breathing and reduce your heart rate to 65 beats per minute. Then, bathe in the sun every morning and drink milk.]
Raito: Hm.
Kinari: It also says [It’s good to eat a dried shiitake mushroom everyday and be asleep by 11 p.m.]
Kuguri: (That’s the rules of good health…)
Raito: Dried shiitake mushrooms? I’ve got lots of stock leftover from when I made dashi. I’ll try it out next time.
Kinari: Ah, I’d like to hear the result.
Raito: But still… going to bed by 11 p.m. is probably going to be difficult. I lose track of time when I watch Mu–☆tan’s1 streams…
Kinari: This method will likely be a challenge then.
Raito: Are these the only options?
Kinari: Other methods… I am searching now.
Kinari: Is it something like [Stay hydrated, eat a healthy diet, and do moderate exercise daily]?
Raito: I see. That makes sense. I’ll try anything if it’s to meet an alien!
Kuguri: Ha… It’s so idiotic I can’t listen anymore.
