Track 002

Kafka: Everyone seems to be here. All right, starting the HAMA Tours Group Meeting.

Akuta: Wahoo! I was waiting for this~!

Nayuki: I’ll explain. Our company has been approached regarding a collaboration project.

Nayuki: It is a request for us to participate in a feature event called [Mahorova Cosplay Vol. 1] or abbreviated, [MahoCos] that takes place in the Metaverse.

Chihiro: Eh-, an official mahorova collab!?

Renga: That’s a massive project, right!

Nayuki: Correct. The costume app used for avatars within mahorova has been renewed, and MahoCos’s main event goal is to promote it.

Kafka: It’s because HAMA is a whirlwind of media buzz as a tourist district right now♪ Naturally, they would want the current Tour Mayors to participate and make the event more lively.

Nayuki: The theme of this event is [Ayakashi1]. Since theme costumes will be implemented in the app, they would like original designs to be created and presented.

Ushio:

Ushio: (I’m interested in cosplay within mahorova… But the theme is too basic. Surely, there’s a way to spin this a bit more.)

Raito: Nayuki, will the participating District Mayors be appointed? Or is it bidding for candidacy?

Nayuki: …I feel like I heard a question about the participants, so I’ll answer it.

Chief: N-Nayuki-kun won’t even look Raito-san’s way…

Nayuki: An offer for Domeki-san has come from the sponsor.

Kuguri: Ehh, me?

Nayuki: Fortunately, there is a passionate Ev3ns fan within the sponsor’s committee from what I’ve heard. They’re quite a fan of you, Domeki-san, and have strong hopes for your participation.

Nayuki: The conception of MahoCos’s theme [Ayakashi] was also gleaned from your atmosphere’s style.

Ushio: (Haa…? What’s with that. Isn’t that simply abuse of authority?)

Kuguri: Fufu, I guess I’ll respond to that little lamb’s discerning eyes. Alright, I’ll do it.

Nayuki: Thank you kindly. One more person, this is a request from me but, Azekawa-san, I’d like for you to participate too.

Kinari: New order confirmed. Manager, requesting further explanation so that I may determine acceptance or rejection of the new order.

Nayuki: This request also includes a review of the costume app. So, I was hoping you could do both duties of summarizing the participant’s opinions and serving as recorder.

Kinari: Master. Am I OK to accept this order?

Chief: Of course! Is that alright with you? Summarizing data is one of your strengths too!

Kinari: I understand. Order accepted. I will update my task prioritization.

Nayuki: Alright, two people are confirmed. If anyone else is interested, you are welcome to contribute as a candidate.

Nanaki: Ah, Kugu-nii… If Domeki-san is participating, I want to join in too. I’d like to try working together.

Kuguri: Oh? Isn’t that cute of you to say, Nanaki.

Ushio: (Yeah, yeah. I guess we’ve got family bonding over here too?)

Nayuki: Nanaki-kun is also confirmed. Is there anyone else?

Chief: That reminds me, isn’t cosplay one of Sakujiro-san’s specialties? Can we get advice on costumes and such–?

Sakujiro: My sincerest apologies, but my schedule is quite packed at this time.

Sakujiro: I have no freedom until the day of the event and believe it will be very difficult to offer any assistance.

Chief: Is that so… Well then, let’s all work hard and do our best.

Chief: The theme [Ayakashi] seems quite interesting too!

Ushio: …I don’t think it’s interesting at all though.

Chief: Eh?

Ushio: They thought of it from looking at Domeki-san? Isn’t that too cliche? In general, [Ayakashi] are just [Youkai2], right? As a cosplay theme, it’s too tasteless.

Ushio: This kind of ancient theme as costume app PR? Isn’t this just a complete lack of novelty?

Chief: Err, I wonder…

Kuguri: …Fufu.

Ushio: What is it, Domeki-san?

Kuguri: Nothing, you seem to think there’s something unfavorable about it if the theme is cliche.

Kuguri: Isn’t there excitement in trying to figure out how to play with an overdone theme? Or is that too difficult for your imagination.

Ushio: No chance that’s it.

Ushio: (I’m not at the level of Karigane-san, but I try to be knowledgeable about cosplay.)

Ushio: All I thought from what I’m hearing is will this project be OK when the theme is so basic and disappointing.

Nanaki: Haa… You really can’t relax until you pick everything apart, can you.

Nanaki: Or rather, was what you said yesterday, “an uncommunicative person who enters every conversation with negativity” was referring to yourself.

Ushio: Ha?

Nanaki: What?

Nagi: A fight again? Calm down, both of–

Nagi: …Ah. Deja vu.

Chief: Ah, aaaah! Nagi-kun tripped on nothing!

Kinari: From the collision with the desk, Nanamegi-sama and Kurama-sama’s drinks…

Nagi: Hot! No, cold! No, a perfectly suitable warm temperature.

Nanaki & Ushio: Why did it only hit Hachinoya-san exactly!?

Nagi: Yep. Saved by the steaming coffee and ice-cold [Ghost Pepper Drink].

Kafka: Ahaha! You guys are perfectly in sync!♪

Kafka: Nayuki, from the remaining members, Ushio, and it’s amusing so let’s add Nagi too. Don’t you think five people is just right?

Nayuki: Yes, that sounds right.

Ushio: Uh, I didn’t say anything about wanting to participate…

Kafka: And? So it was that you don’t have the confidence?

Ushio: I have it. Confidence in myself at least.

Kafka: If that’s the case, then there’s no problem, right! Looking forward to your efforts♪

Ushio: ……!

Ushio: This is really the worst….
